2026 sees the launch of The Mountain Trophy Adventure — an exciting new schools MTB/ Gravel stage race forming part of the Luxliner Schools Series.
Young riders, schools and cycling teams will compete over two exciting stages in what promises to become one of the standout schools cycling weekends in Gauteng.
Schools Race Format
Saturday 3 October
- 15km Individual Time Trial - Part of the 2-Day event
Sunday 4 October
- 20km Gravel Race
- 45km Gravel Race
(Distances vary according to age category.)
This professionally organised event gives young riders the opportunity to experience true stage racing in a safe, exciting and competitive environment.
Schools, coaches, teachers and parents are encouraged to support their riders and enjoy a fantastic weekend of gravel racing in the heart of Magaliesburg.
